'Je Suis Charlie' rally

 'Je suis Charlie - Non a l'obscurantisme'

 

 Many people held pencils - this woman had three in her fist and

 a couple in her hair

The square was pretty full 

on the North Terrace there were pens, posters and candles for Charlie 

 

It was getting dark and time for the promised illuminations 

the fountains began to change colour, but were just a little disappointing 

They couldn't get red white and blue at the same time - but a blue fence helped  

I left before they got both projecters working and so missed seeing the French flag on the National Gallery
(I did photograph a test pattern but it wasn't very interesting!)
