Heathrow Villages fight for survival

Harmondsworth, Middx. Sun 12 April 2015

  
 
 Harmondsworth parish church - parts date from around 1067

 A former pub on the village green, private housing for over a hundred years

 Protesters gathered just off the village green

 where the Heathrow boundary would be if expansion is allowed

 'Stop Heathrow Expansion'

 The Polar Bears brought their banner 'Any new runway is Plane Stupid'

 

 

 Locals hold posters that will go up around the area shortly

Candidates pinned their rosettes to the mural and wrote messages 

All the candidates in the constituency are against expansion 

 

Clifford Dixon (UKIP), Pearl Lewis (Conservative), John McDonnell (Labour) and Alick Munro (Green)
