Royal College of Art living wage protest

Royal College of Art, London. Wed 22 Apr 2015

The protesters went around to the rear yard in front of the RCA canteen

and made a lot of noise in the almost completely enclosed space there

then came back to the main entrance

before going to protest at the locked entrance facing the Albert Hall

and then ending the protest and walking away....

as far as Hyde Park, where a group doubled back through the park

Alberto runs for the main door, just around the corner, but he didn't wait until enough people had got there

Jason is stopped by a senior member of staff who shouts at him not to trespass on the site

and then goes to help the security who are stopping Alberto entering. He assaults Alberto, pushing him away

and then edges past a security man who is standing in Alberto's way

Jason and Alberto realise they have failed to get inside

and the protesters withdraw for a final round of noisy protest

before really leaving the college

They pack away and get ready to leave
