UVW Wood St Strike continues

 A man walking past comes to find out what the protest is about, and is shocked to find how Thames and CBRE have acted

 and holds a poster to show his support - and also advises the cleaners against a hunger strike.

 The cleaners are demanding to be paid the London living wage - and Vera holds up a poster

 They have held an official picket every one of the 22 days of the strike so far, as well as rallies like this which have

 to be at least 10 metres away, and have been supported by Class War

 and the National Shop Stewards Network - with Rob Williams, NSSN Chair speaking

Sacked UVW cleaner Juan Cantos intends to start a hunger strike on July 4th if their demands have not been met

After a rally opposite the main doorway into the CBRE managed offices at 100 Wood St, the protesters march down the street 

and around the block containing the offices 

 

then move through teh CIty of London streets 

towards CBRE's offices in St Martin's Court, next to St Paul's underground station.
