LSE decorated against inequality & corruption

LSE, London.Tue 25 Apr 2017

and also some small posters looking like £50 notes, which the protesters

go and fix on the walls of the building as

 LSE's security boss looks on

Eventually the police arrive and decide they will arrest the four

despite their offer to clean the wall with the sponges they have brought, Apparently the LSE have told the police

that they will not let the protesters clean up the alleged damage

Police talk to the four, who all want to be arrested to show up the LSE and its failure to live up to its stated aims

A police officer handcuffs Roger Hallam who organised this 'Life Not Money' protest

and one of the others who helped write the slogan on the wlal

Another protester, hands hancuffed behind his back is led away

Roger Hallam tells police he will not resist but will not help them, and they have to lfit him

and drag him away as he goes limp

and the throw him into the back of a police van

Another protester is more cooperative and has provided police with some ID

and the officer lets him walk to the van without handcuffs

They search him and put all the contents of his pockets into a bag before putting him in the van.

Three days later LSE security are still guarding the wall against further chalking, but there is absolutiely no sign
of any damage. Chalk spray washes off readily with no damage, and no specialist treatment is required, just a
wipe with a damp sponge. Without a prejudiced magistrate or judge it would be very hard to sustain a charge of
criminal damage.
