 Creekside Discovery Centre gates

 Creekside

 

 

 The bridge on the path here used to be a toll bridge and is sometimes known as the 'Halfpenny (Ha'ppeny) Hatch
 The current footbridge was opened in 2001.

 

 The DLR crosses Deptford Creek

 

 The railway had to have a lifting bridge to allow navigation up the Creek

 The creek is almost empty at low tide

 

 

 

 Greenwich Sewage Pumping Station

 Norman Rd

 

 

 

 Euromix concrete still use the Prior's Wharf

 Creek Road lifting bridge was built around 1954 to replace an earlier swing bridge

 The over-green area almost falling into the Creek used to be a scrapyard, and flats occupy the site of Deptford Power

 Station and gas works.

 The Hoy pubclosed in 2008 and became a cafe but was closed today

 Stowage - the roadway here looked very different in the 1980s

 The footbridge across Deptford Creek opened in 2015

 

 

 

 

 Albury St

 with its many decorated doorways

 

 Goddards pie and mash shop is closing down after 128 years. Some won't miss it

 

 St Paul's Church & Deptford High St

 

 A new look Deptford Station at right and the new yard. The Deptford Art & Gentrification Walk started here


The Tinderbox on top of the listed Victorian carriage ramp, built in 1835 and said to be London's earliest railway structure
The arches were converted for use by startup businesses. Completed in 2016.
