Protests at Anglo-American mining AGM

Inminds had come to demonstrate before the other protesters arrived.
Anglo American supplies Israel with
diamonds which are cut in Israel. The diamonds make a major contribution
to the Israeli economy and some
of the diamond firms give special contributions to sections of the
Israeli Defence Forces, responsible for the
shooting of protesters in Gaza. As well as killing many - including
medics and reporters - they use special bullets
which expand inside the body to maim protesters, resulting in many
having to have their legs amputated.
Ammunition of this type is generally illegal under international law.
The other protesters arrive and set up next to where In minds are
already protesting
As well as the London Mining Network they also incude War on Want

and carries a placard against Anglo American corrupt activity in Colombia
Health professionals from Medact arrive to join the protest
The protesters pose for photographs before those who hold a share
go into the AGM to ask questions
