St John's Wood - Paddington Basin

Regent's Canal, London. Wed 17 Jul 2019

 Little Venice

The Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal

The canal goes under the Westway

a footbridge leads to Sheldon Square

The Westway is a double-decker road with the west-bound Harrow Road at the lower level

 Westway and the Battleship Building

A short range of older canal-side buildings has been preserved

St Mary's Hospital is along the south side of Paddington Basin (right of picture)

Paddington Basin ends here, and I walk back along the north side

 My finger again intrudes

 I crossed the bridge

and walked along the path and into Paddington Station to catch the Underground.
