The protesters from Inminds were outside the Puma store in Carnaby
St
They call for people to boycott Puma as it sponsorts the apartheid
Israel Football Association
which includes clubs from illegal settlements built on stolen Palestinian
land. The settlements are a war crime.
Many passing by showed an interest and were shocked by the facts in
the posters and leaflets.
A poster states that Israel kills one Palestinian child every 60 hours
and imprisons a Palestinian child every 12 hours - two a day
They say 221 Palestinian prisoners have been killed in Israeli prisons
by torture or medical neglect
and call on Puma to end its sponsorship.
The protesters played music, handed out leaflets and after I left there
were speeches
