Students Strike for climate justice

London. Fri 27 Sep 2019

People wait in Parliament Square for the School Strike protest to begin

Gradually the numbers increased. Many had made posters and placards for the event

'I am the Lorax- I speak for the trees - Pollute again - I'll bread your f***ing knees'

 'Act Now or Swim Later'

'There is nothing we can do - FALSE'

'Green House Gasses can kiss our Asses'

'No one is too small to make a difference'

'Dinosaurs thought they had time too!'

'We Will Rise - Just Like the Ocean'

'We're Not in Lessons Because we're Teaching You One!'

They pose for photos in front of the gates to Downing St

 and then continue up Whitehall

To Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column

 'Too Hot For School'

'Our House Is On Fire - Greta Thunberg'
