Support Chilean protesters

South Bank, London. Sat 26 Oct 2019

Brutal repression by the state of protests in Chile have resulted in over 20 deaths and thousands of injuries

Protests began over rises in the cost of living which were part of a package agreed by the government with the IMF

The protests rapidly developed into wider issues calling for the resignation of President Piñera.

and an end to human rights violations

'The protest in Chile will not be published as much as other protests because it does not benefit Western
Economic Interest - Shame on You!!!'

'The Chilean Government is Attacking its People' though the figures on the poster were out of date

with at least 20 deaths now reported and over two thousand seriously injured.

Some had brought pans to bang to make a noise
