March Against Fur 2019

London. Sat 23 Nov 2019

 I'd missed most of the rally in Leicester Square, arriving late

 but people were still listening to speakers

 'Animal abusers wear fur' and the logo of Canada Goose whose Regent St store has had regular protests because of the cruelty in fur and down

 in its products.

 'For FUR Sake!! Stop the Killing'

 A man speaks about the activities of the Animal Liberation Front

 'If you wear fur then our outer uggliness is the least of your problems'

 'No Blood for Vanity'

 'Only Assholes Wear Canada Goose'

 'Only Scum Bags Wear Fur!'

 The main banner 'March Against Fur' and in smaller print 'And All Animal Oppression;

 'Make Me Purr Don't Wear Fur'

 People get ready to march

 and the march starts

 with some loud chanting

 'Born to be Free Not A Victim ofr Vanity'

 'Fur on Your Back Blood on Your Hands'

 'I can't survive without my coat - YOU Can!' and another poster about Canada Goose, 'Proudly Torturing Animals Since 1957'

 'England Ban the Fur Trade'

 'Innocent and Defenceless - Murdered for his Fur'

 'Vegan Warrior'

 'Wear Clothes Not Animals'

 'Electrocuted? Gassed? Neck Snapped? Skinned Alive, Bled to death in a Trap? How did YOUR fur coat die?'

 'Don't Buy while They Die'

 A man wears an ALF hat

 'Fur Kills - Boycott All Shops That Sell Fur'

 'Fur = Murder'

I left the march on Shaftesbury Avenue on its way to protest at various fur shops
